Now available Garrett's latest edition, the redesigned billet GTX-R lineup. This turbocharger employs a 11-full blade, forged, and fully machined compressor wheel which features advanced aerodynamics for significant gains over the standard Garrett GT compressor wheels. Because this GTX edition is sold without turbine housings (CHRA and compressor housing assembly only) it is totally interchangeable with the standard GT4294R and journal bearing GT4294 (except for the requirement for water-cooling) turbos.
This GTX42R 'compact' turbocharger features a standard GT40R compressor housing mated to a custom back plate. This alternative compressor housing cuts down on overall size for vehicles/systems with fitment issues.
T4 4" V-band discharge turbine housings are available in as follows.
1.01, 1.15, and 1.28 A/R turbine housings.
Tial 1.0 V-band housings available at additions cost.
T6 turbine housings are also available with 5" V-band discharge.
Heat management and TFE coatings are available at an additional cost.
Compressor housing polish service is available at an additional cost.
