Now available Garrett's latest edition, the redesigned billet GTX-R lineup. This turbocharger employs a 11-full blade, forged, and fully machined compressor wheel which features advanced aerodynamics for significant gains over the standard Garrett GT compressor wheels. This oil and water cooled turbo also includes a ported shroud compressor housing to reduce the occurrence of surge. Because this GTX edition is sold without turbine housings (CHRA and compressor housing assembly only) it is totally interchangeable with the standard GT4202R and journal bearing GT4202 (except for the requirement for water-cooling) turbos. T4 4" V-band discharge turbine housings are available in as follows.

1.01, 1.15, and 1.28 A/R turbine housings.
Tial 1.0 V-band housings available at additions cost.
T6 turbine housings are also available with 5" V-band discharge.
Heat management and TFE coatings are available at an additional cost.
